Hi, I'm Kuba, 27-years old guy based in Warsaw, Poland. I like sailing, hiking, dancing (I'm not a great dancer, though ;) ) and travelling, as well as sharing good food, wine and mood with other people in lovely places! I also practice Capoeira for a couple of years. I'm quite open minded and I'm always eager to get new experience. And I like cooking!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend recommended it to me as a good way of travelling - it is a great opportunity to meet new people and visit places you wouldn't find in guide book, she said! So that's what I'm hoping for - to meet someone who can show me the place they live in from the personal point of view. And that's what I'm offering to others, although I can't host anyone at the moment (but I hope it will change).

Music, Movies, and Books

I like rock music in general (Black Sabbath is my favourite band), but new record of Lady Gaga is quite good, too. I like fantasy books, The Witcher being my favourite one, but also more seious ones, like Harper's Lee "To Kill a Mockingbird". And the movies... I'm looking forward to see new "Lion King"!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For now the most amazing thing I've ever done is a sailing licence, completed last year... after which I went sailing in December in -15 deg. Celsius! The lake got frozen and with friends we had to crash the ice to escape from this trap... But it was a fantastic experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

What can I teach? Well, I can tell you how to say "hi!" in Polish, which is the most difficult world in my language ;) If you want, we can practice Capoeira together or you can ask me something about physics you were always afraid to ask!
