I'm Sonja, 25 years old and from Austria, but currently studying in Germany.
I really like hanging out in Cafes, taking walks, window shopping, baking, cooking, knitting, video games and watching sequels on TV. Especially in winter I love lying around snuggled up in cosy blankets, watch something nice and drink cocoa. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing not only because it makes travelling cheaper but also gives you another view of the places you visit. When travelling you usually don't see any super lovely secret spots, unless they are mentioned in a travel guide as secret hints, which makes it a little paradox.
To me it makes a visit much more special if some local guides you or gives you hints, tells you where to go or what to eat!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

went hiking in Shiratani unsukiyo whichˋs amazing vivid green forests inspired Mononoke hime and some other Ghibli film settings.
