About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To educate and liberate!
ABOUT ME
I am currently living in the beautiful city of Denver, Colorado with my boyfriend and LOVING it! Before studying for my Masters in Brussels last year, I lived in Central America for 3.5 years doing a variety of development work in Guatemala and Nicaragua. It was there that I started hosting couch surfers and discovered how great this community is!
PHILOSOPHY
I want to spread sustainability and education to the developing communities of the world. With the current global situation, I honestly believe that working with our environments and educating the next generation about our current struggles will help lead to a much healthier and sustainable future. This is second only to "work hard, play hard".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
A lot of my friends are a part of the community as well and have traveled extensively using CS. I have had surfers in Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Boston, many of whom turned out to be great friends! I use CS to meet fellow travelers, as well as to be able to travel myself when the time is right. I want to help spread the ability to travel with little to no money, as I know how it feels!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't yet been hosted by someone, but have hosted a few couch surfers..even had Christmas with one! I like people who aren't completely reliant on me for everything, and can help contribute to the beer or food in the house. I cook a lot, so if you help me buy food I'll cook for you! Although, my first few CSers were pretttttty awesome, so they'll be hard to beat!
