Hi my name is Kyle Robinson, I'm a medical student from the U.S. who loves to travel and learn languages. I've traveled to 21 countries and slept in everything from a palm frond hut to a world famous monastery. I'm outgoing and social, but even more important for my hosts responsible and clean.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet locals in the countries I travel to. I'm using couch surfing to find hosts that can show me the cities in which they live. Also, medical school in the U.S. isn't the cheapest and I'm going to be paying for it myself, so any dollar I can save is a huge plus. Thankyou so much to anyone willing to offer a place to stay in their homes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent three months in Madgascar working as an English teacher and medical assistant at a rural school and clinic. While there I treated infections, lacerations, STDs, parasites, and a huge range of diseases we rarely see in the developed world. I also helped take care of our clinic's pet lemur Rey, and have plenty of stories to tell about my experience if any hosts would like to hear.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach premed students in the U.S. the sciences they need to excel on the MCAT: the entrance exam for medical school. I teach physics, chemistry, biology, biochemistry, psychology, sociology, and literature. I've also taught English to Spanish and French speakers. I know a little bit about everything and I'm happy to teach any hosts that would like to learn these subjects.

My wonderful friendly presence. I'm also happy to make my hosts a meal and clean and I'm a great source for help on science homework.
