About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Understand (or delude myself so)

ABOUT ME

I can't speak about me, that should be done by other persons. If interested, come and take a look.

PHILOSOPHY

Conscience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting and surfing and meeting and yo!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While I was living in Trieste I hosted many travelers and had great time!

CS community helped me finding a home in Lisbon and in Lille, and meeting people in new cities.

At the moment I don't have a proper house, so I am not able to host... hopefully in few months I'll have a nice home in Brazil, and be back hosting again!

Interests

Math, music, movies, thinking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies, of any kind! Here's some title that really changed my ways: Underground (Kusturica), Path Garreth and Billy Kid (Peckinpah), The Party (Edwards), Dr. Strangelove (Kubrick), Rushmore (Anderson) and all Wes Anderson movies, Delicatessen (Jeunet & Caro), Sonatine (Kitano), Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (Park-Chan Wook), The cameraman (Keaton), Dead Man (Jarmush), Glen and Randa (McBride).

Love music too, but here is more complicated: I have random favourite artists.

I used to read a lot, and my favourite novelists are Dostoevskij and Calvino. And everybody should read "Godel Escher Bach: an eternal golden braid".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching at all post apocalyptiv movies in the history of cinema (Dec 2011: up to 1983)

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing knowledge and experiences is surely one of best things in life!

I can teach math, actually is my work, to experts, but also try to make people understand what a mathematician is, since usually it is misunderstood.

I love to learn, any kind of things, above all at an amatorial level.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, China, Germany, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
