Hi! We are Laila and Lisa, two German twins who grew up in Portugal. We started couch surfing when we were travelling around Australia, since then we have this account together, so please don´t strange! :)
Now a little bit more about ourselves:

Lisa:
After being one year abroad in Australia, I decided to study architecture in Porto. I was an exchange student in Valparaíso, Chile and live in Brazil for a year. I love travelling and discovering different ways of living!
When I am not travelling, I love beeing in nature. I grew up close to the ocean and fell in love with surfing at the age of 15, since then my life has been depending pretty much on having waves close to me :)

Laila:
I consider myself a very uncomplicated and easy going person who always tries to see the world positive and live the present :)
Last year I finished my Psychology Bachelor, 2 years in Lisbon and 1 in Floripa in Brazil. My exchange year in Brazil was wonderful, I fell in love with beautiful music, happy people, exotic fruits and amazing landscapes. In my summer break there, I got the opportunity to backpack around South America, which was wonderful too. It made me value simple things in life, and rethink our current society.
All in all, I believe that life is an adventure from which we'll never come out alive, so we should make the most out of it.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

We were very lucky to couchsurf in Australia and Laila already in South America, it was always one of the best parts of travelling! :D
We learnt a lot about the places and people by staying with a local. We appreciate all the stories which were shared, its so interesting to get a feeling for how someone lives in the city or town you are visiting!
