Overview
About Me
Hey! I’m Lakshay from India, currently budget traveling and exploring the world one country at a time. I enjoy slow travel, local food, real conversations, and learning how people actually live. This is my first international trip and I’m starting with Vietnam. I’m curious, open minded, and always happy to talk or explore around the city.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me Couchsurfing is about connection, not just a place to stay. I want to meet people, exchange stories, and experience destinations through local eyes. Even meeting for a walk or coffee is something I value.
Interests
I enjoy learning about cultures in a simple and real way how people live, eat, work, and relax. I like traveling slowly using public transport, hitchhiking, local cafés, and night markets. Hitchhiking especially helps me connect with locals and have genuine conversations. I’m also starting to document my journey, so personal stories and everyday experiences matter to me.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy chill music, travel vibes, and random playlists. I like books and movies that feel real such as travel stories, documentaries, and films about different cultures and human journeys.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Taking my first international trip alone and starting my journey in Vietnam without a fixed plan. It feels scary and exciting at the same time.
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy exchanging stories and experiences with people from different backgrounds. I can share insights about Indian culture, food, festivals, and everyday life, along with stories from my travels. I love good conversations over tea or meals and believe those moments create real connections. I’m always happy to learn from locals about their city, culture, language basics, traditions, and simple daily life. I’m open minded, curious, and enjoy learning through shared experiences.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I offer respect, cleanliness, and positive energy. I’m easygoing, independent, and mindful of house rules. I’m happy to help with small things around the home and share good conversations. If you like, I can also make Indian chai and simple homemade paratha for you. Most importantly, I’m grateful for the experience and enjoy connecting in a genuine, comfortable way.
