I am Lamees an Egyptian young girl. I live in Cairo and I study Clinical Psychology, its my second year at the university. I am a very sociable, friendly, lovely person as everyone says. I have a lot of interests, dreams, ideas, things to do in my life and to share with the world. I love my life, love to live and to try anything and everything new specially if its crazy or a risk will let the adrenaline go. I am a volunteer in so many things; I teach English and Arts to orphans, I am a trainee at two mental health hospitals, I am a therapist and motivational to the kids that they have cancer, I am head of Human Resources in a charity that helps everyone in Egypt, and also I am a sports girl. I have my own small business I draw some designs and I sell clothes. I believe that I can change the world to a better place by the psychology. And I am sure that my life is full by more and more things that are too much to write them here!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I like to be everywhere, to meet new people, new cultures, new minds, and different personalities. I love people and I like having new different friends because this will help me and them a lot. So I can get a good chances to help others and leave my finger print in so many lifes.

Actually I am a person who loves everything, and I have a lot of interests! But the most are the Jazz music, metal, bob. Movies: Eat Pray Love, me before you, Leon, The God Father, Fury. Books: The Davinci code, Angels and Demons, The Alchemist, The Devil and Miss Pryn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think they are many but i can tell you about my experience with the poor, sick, disadvantaged kids in Uganda! I stayed there for two months I was teaching them health habits, social and self development, English, and sports. at the end of the project everything was saying that they have changed a lot into a good way! we drew knew ourselves, focused on our dreams and skills and what we can do, then we thought a lot about the way to reach them, then we pointed our dreams and we drew them and hanged all of them on charts on the walls of their classes and we promised to remember each other and never give up until we reach. ((:

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my way of thinking, my positivity, my skills, my experience. and teach teach them how they love themselves, the people, the world and everything. how they can go for risks with passion, how to be happy and satisfied. how to believe in themselves and to go for their dreams. i can teach them Arabic, English. I can teach them some sports or subjects like psychology or horse riding. And about what I will learn I don't know exactly but I am sure that I will learn a lot maybe different languages, subjects, food, sports, ideas, lifestyles, and more!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a very positive person who loves and appreciate life so much and I try anything and everything new I see, so I have tried everything and traveled to everywhere in EGYPT. And I know a lot do and to go. I can take them to the most beautiful wonderful places in Egypt, and let them try all the different food, games, crazy and special things. I just need to meet some new crazy people have the same interests as me so we go. I think that there are a lot of thing are waiting for us! And on the other side i can share with them my ideas, experience, dreams, and what i have learned.
