About Me

I'm a recent graduate in the discipline of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Manitoba. That; by title. However, I am a passionate photographer and a pretty good poet at heart. I enjoy making people happy, and often make people laugh with my easy-to-get-along-with character! Just name a topic, such as 'that rock in the corner' and see me hold a fun conversation for hours!

Hobbies: Outdoor activities and sports, camping, hiking, movies, festivals, crowd, and everything. Yup. Everything.

Did I mention travelling and languages?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet people from around the world. Share experiences with one another, and also to couch surf throughout my amazing adventures!

I enjoy travelling, and I enjoy those who enjoy travelling. Simple. Life is a story, and we all are its chapters. I just wish to read and write in that simple book.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to list. Too many to name. I like them little authors.. And the ones with the fame.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was going to a wedding once in a third world country, all suited up and along came this one small cat that started following me. Literally the size of the palm of my hands, until eventually we had to part. I continued crossing the road and it stayed there. Eventually it started walking and it FELL in a whole (there are many sewage systems in this country and this poor kitten fell in it).

Struggling for help, I tried to get people to save this kitten. Everyone refused. One person even said something along the lines of, 'Oh, poor thing. It's a shame it will die like this'.

"The hell it is", I thought.

See, in this country there is a lot of garbage around the street. Many of the items being thrown out (dirty) clothes.

So I begin dirtying the suit I had, as this kitten was my responsibility. I tied one piece of cloth, to another, to another, until eventually I could drop down this cloth.

Another man finally saw the struggle and came in for the help.

Together, we stood on opposite ends and lowered the 'blanket' we created. The problem was that the kitten was stuck on some floating piece of something, with water around it. Holding on to its life.

By this point, a gigantic crowd was formed to observe what was happening. First dozens, then hundreds of people out of which two helped grab a gigantic piece of wood from a nearby store and hit (unfortunately) the kitten onto the blanket so it wouldn't drown.

We later pulled the 'blanket' up, along with the cat. Wrapped it up in some clothes (as it was on the palm of my hand, much much smaller than it when wet).

A nearby bazaar saw this and offered to fetch the kitten some milk and take responsibility of it while I continued my journey to find a taxi to attend the wedding.

The end of an incredible story!

Teach, Learn, Share

She looked at me from a distance,
With a fear struck in her eye.
A sorrow within some silent words,
As we shared our last goodbye.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can be clean and respectful. Provide amazing stories, and create new memories. I can bring out the best in people and bond on a personal level, as I cherish every human being as their own individual person (as they are) and will never forget each and every detail of every human I have interacted on this personal level.

Furthermore, I will help with house chores, and assist with cleaning. I will also cook an incredible meal if the opportunity arrises.
