About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To show the world that smallness doesn't mean insuficientness

ABOUT ME

I don't know how to start. I'm an open minded guy, who is really amazed to know new people. I'm quite busy all the time, trying to make many things in the same time. I feel big respect to other cultures and I try to learn the best parts of each of them, especially form the little ones. I like photography, geography, languages, music... (that's not very original, is it?)

I also like going out at night (maybe too much ;)) and dance. After having a really bussy week, instead of going home and have rest during the weekend, I usually go out partying and if I had fun, the next week, I'm again like new! hahaha. I like making other people feel happy, so sometimes I start saying silly things to see the others smiling. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Try to be nice to the people, so as their chance to be nice with you is bigger. (I don't know how to say it exactly in English, but you understood, didn't you? hehe)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Now I'm a exchange student in Denmark and I don't know if I'll be able to help this community too much. But definitely, when I'll go home I will try to host people and show them around. Sure.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I knew about CouchSurfing last December, when I had to go to Norway with a classmate to write an article about the Sami people. He told me about this webpage and I think it is one of the coolest projects I know. It's so great to leave other people stay in your house, and have the opportunity to know them, and later, to travel to other countries and do the same. I think it's just amazing! It's a way to make World a better place.

Interests

I don't know... I like music, traveling, languages, photography, journalism... But especially, what I'm interested in are the little cultures and the minoritary ones. I think World's richness is the multiculturalism. Do you imagine this World with only a main culture and a main language, without anything else? oh... that would be such a pitty...

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite movies: City of God, Schindler´s List, The Shawshank Redemption, Crash, Bloody Diamond...

My favourite music: I like almost all kind of music, but I specially like punk and ska music from the 80's, like, The Clash, Stiff Little Fingers, The Redskins, Ramones, Peter & TTB, The Stranglers... I also like Basque punk and rock, as: Hertzainak, Kortatu, Negu Gorriak, Skalariak, Kuraia, Berri Txarrak...

My favorite book without any doubt, Bernardo Atxaga's The Accordionist's Son. And in English, Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did inter-rail with other 3 friends in Italy, Croatia, Slovenia and Switzerland. That was my best vacation ever. And now, I'm really enjoying being a exchange student in Denmark!

Teach, Learn, Share

For me, the most important thing is the respect. Respect the other, and express yourself!
