There's no logic for hosts to pay to host people for free, to be honest :) I stop paying from October so I can't answer via CS but I can still receive requests via mail. When you're asking to stay at my place, please, write me one thing that made you smile that day in your message. It'll make me happy :) Then you can copy-paste your request, no worries about that.
