Hi, I’m Larissa, I have a creative head, love designing things, sewing, knitting and weaving. I absolutely love dancing, any kind! Right now I‘m learning West Coast Swing. But I‘m also always dancing on my own when noone is watching :) I can be really chatty and I love deep conversations, not a big fan of smalltalk. But in a group of people I also enjoy just being there and I‘m not usually the one talking. I also enjoy some me time and doing things on my own, but also love being with friends having a games night. Usually I live in Hamburg and currently I’m an exchange student at the Designschool in Kolding/Denmark, doing Textile Design. (Yes, it‘s different from fashion :D) But if you ever need a place to stay in the Fichtelmountains, my family is always very happy to host you :) I‘m a vegetarian, in case we‘re cooking together :)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and cultures. I really enjoy beeing able to have a closer look in peoples daily life and meeting them in their homes. It's great to get to see places out of the view of a local and not just as a tourist. It’s a really great opportunity for travelling cheap with the huge plus of meeting new friends and getting to know different cultures!
Music, Movies, and Books
My top artist is Noah Kahan, I can always listen to his music. And I also love that bittersweet folk music style a lot. I’m always a little hesitant to admit it, but the movie I watched the most is probably Pride and Prejudice (the one with Keira Knightley). I just have a soft spot for it. For books I mostly read fantasy, but every now and then I also read a book about a topic I‘m interested in.
Teach, Learn, Share
I‘d love to learn more about different cultures and political life in different countries.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I love cooking Spätzle (a german dish) and can share that with you! It’s my comfort food and reminds me of my grandma, because she always makes them for me :)
