About Me

I'm a dreamer. I was born in a small, bustling town in the tropics. I grew up in love with literature and education. I am always communicative, I love learning about people, walking the streets, new cities, observing the dynamics of people and interacting with the community. I am a PhD in Political Science and I divide my decision between human rights and the impacts on the internet and data in public policies. I'm fascinated by the technologies, but I prefer a personal conversation and a smile. I received my first email at the age of 17 and my first laptop, at age 22. And at age 32 I am a specialist in government data.
But I can talk about a lot of subjects, dance, football, movies, music, lots of music.
I have a dog named Jim Morrisson, I play sports every day. I believe in angels, I love orange juice, special beers and coffee. I take with me a lot of love and respect.,

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The most unexpected and surprising moments in my life were one whose planning was simple: go. Just continue. Take a chance, see the new one, be authentic. I want to learn and meet people, places, customs. Because I have been living with different people throughout my life who have learned to respect, admire and understand each other's world. Delivery makes us human. I am still building my life, work, and study, and I believe that people with good intentions can help me, be friends and partners. This is my way of acting and thinking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like everything from progressive rock to classic blues and mussicas. But I love dancing to the sound of R & B. My favorite book is "Unbearable Lightness of Being", this work is very important to me. I always reread and refine my internal questions about what is most important. Be light? Or being heavy? This is a common dichotomy, daily and present in everyone's life. I have no answer, but I think ... "regardless of which side you choose, do it with dedication and love." I'm a fan of Martin Scorserse but I also have tears watching Legends of Passion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I believe all the paths I've traveled are special. I was born in a small town, in the global south, between coffee plantations. I've always read many books. Everything I imagined came from the stories of the books my mother gave me. There was no internet. My first email was from the time of the university. So more is my daily progress. Today I work with human rights, public policies, local government, internet, and data. Currently, I want to know the places I've seen in books and learn from people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Brazilian food, dance ... I love dancing, discussing art, politics, sociology, philosophy. I also like long walks, watching the dynamics of the places, the smell and even the wind. I have funny stories to share, goodwill for any task, readiness for activities. Everything is learning, even silence.
