Hey! I’m Lars, a German cook who’s traveling through Colombia.
I’m here since November and probably gonna stay until May. In that time I’d go as deep as possible in the Colombian culture.
To do that, I thought Couchsurfing would we a great way!
I love to share and I love to connect with people from all over the world.
As a cook I would surely take care about the food part, we could share our favorite recipes or even create new ones.

starting from 0 in a new culture can be quite hard, no friends around you can hang out with or not much activities to do cause you just don’t know about it. I think that’s why Couchsurfing is a great way to really get in contact to a culture and not just Window shopping (that’s how I call it) through a it. I think every way of changing perspectives and realizing how diverse a life in another country can be, you can exactly figure out which way of life you’d prefer. At the end we’re all doing the same things in life, having common interest but everywhere we see it a bit different. Doesn’t matter if sports, art or just cultural routines you have cause you grew up how you grew up. Since I was a kid this cultural exchanges made the way I life and with Couchsurfing I want to continue that, getting affected from people’s life and affect people’s life positively

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I was about to become a professional football player until I was 17 when I got injured badly and had to stop my career. Afterwards I moved to Berlin to study IT. After 4 years of studying and 2 years of working in an consulting company I decided to go another path and became a cook. Right now I’m just learning, but I think I’m gonna go that path for a long time until I can open my own little restaurant/guesthouse.
