About Me
I'm an adult kid... I love traveling, learning about different cultures and cuisines... I'm friendly and a (bit) weird/awkward/normal depending on 'who you are' :P... I love dogs and art and life and songs and wolf howls and super curious about all things living and non-living. I love to watch the stars at night and if you have interesting stories I'm all ears... I love the mountains and the oceans and anywhere away from concrete structures and cities... I can be quiet and peaceful but also super talkative (!) and I like listening to your stories, experiences and adventures !
* I can show you some bits of Dehradun, with a bit of a drive in my rickety ol' vehicle and drink some hot lemon tea or coffee or whatever you like!
I would like to hear your stories and any recipes you'd like to share with me
but
please, I am offering a lil' tour as a fellow human being who likes to meet people from different countries and cultures, and not with any other intention (I have to unfortunately add this extra bit because of some recent experiences, we are not on a dating site and I hope this is understood very well, I am on the ace spectrum, I really don't have to explain myself but as I said some of my experiences, in the recent past, have been very uncomfortable ), phew, with that out of the way I love to have a laugh and be a bit of a tourist guide friend :D
I'm back on Couchsurfing after nearly 8 years :) I'm not deleting the narrative below because it reminds me of a happier, carefree younger self :) I now live in India.
ABOUT ME
I love travelling and seeing different places, meeting new people, learning about different cultures, languages, food... etc... and Couchsurfing is the best way to do it :)
---written a couple of years ago---
Hello there! Till date I've never lived in one city for more than a couple of years. I've grown up in almost every part of India- North, South and West.. Haven't visited East somehow. Presently I live in a small UK sea side town called Southend-on-sea (then London, and now Liverpool!). I absolutely love traveling and want to cover the British isles as much as possible. I love life, everything about it- believe in living each day to its best potential- I am also very understanding, very adjustable, won't make a mess :) oh and I also love animals a lot :) Love nature and creativity ;D
PHILOSOPHY
Make the most of each Day!
If you step on people in this life you're going to come back as a cockroach...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did the 'Amarnath Yatra' (a pilgrimage trek) in India... up in the Himalayas in Kashmir... 4000m above sea level. Its not an omg amazing thing to do but yes it is tough, though nearly 25000 folks do it every year! but it is definitely one of the most amazing things I've seen, the views are outstanding as your trudge along crazy routes half dangling off the mountains for 14 km to reach this shrine, and then when you return back in the evening you realize that the trail you took in the morning is not there any more... landslides are common...
not sure if I'd do it again but I loved it :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Hmm let me see, I like singing (but I'm just so so), I can draw all right :) and speak Hindi which I also teach to people in my small city here in the UK, so anyone planning to go to India I can definitely help you with the language :) and maybe get you in touch with somebody who can host you as well! Or if you want to learn some cheesy Bollywood dance moves, I can definitely help you there! ;)
I'd love to learn a different language! and local songs or dance forms :) I also love to cook (bake).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I cannot host as of now but I can provide you with my guiding skills as you navigate my area or the country. I can also share my crazy dog with you :D
