CURRENT MISSION Explore Spain, make some new friends, improve my Spanish and occasionally travel abroad ABOUT ME I am currently teaching English in a small pueblo in the Jaén province of Andalusia. My home base is Linares, a city of about 60,000 people with excellent tapas and charming local residents. I will be here for the next year (or possible more) and am looking forward to traveling all around Spain and Europe as much as possible. I'm originally from Brooklyn, NY and you can probably tell when you meet me. I love New York but have always known there was so much more for me to see in this world. I enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories as I find people consistently surprise you. I enjoy going out and partying at times but at my core I am a bit of a homebody. I prefer a fun night in with good friends and beers above all. I'm a very big fan of live music (I have probably been to 100+ concerts...one of the benefits of living in NYC). However my current location doesn't have much to offer in that sense so I am definitely looking to explore some venues in my travels, recommendations are welcome! Overall I think I am a thoughtful, inquisitive, and fun person and can find something in common with everyone. Oh and I am pretty amazing in the kitchen and absolutely willing to cook for my hosts.
