I'm a civil engineer. I'm Polish, but studied in Munich, Germany. I've also lived in London for some time and currently I live and work in Santiago de Chile, before going back to the University in October. It's been my dream for years to visit Latin America and now, finally that I could come thanks to my job, I want to experience as much as possible- that's why I am preparing for a month journey through Peru and Bolivia before going back to Europe.

I'm vegetarian too, which I found pretty hard here in Chile. I do try meat sometimes just to get the experience! I adore Peruvian food (for this, I eat seafood and fish). I love sports too, but here in Chile I've been rather lazy...

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because in my travels, I enjoy the experience way more than collecting the things from "to do" list. I'd much rather sit in a cafe with a nice cup of coffee and talk to people who want to share their stories, than run from one tourist attraction to the other. As much as I like hostels, most of the people I meet there are travelers like me, so it makes it way harder to get to know anything about the people of the place you visit... And this is where couchsurfing helps best

Och I hate this question. I usually listen to the SONGS I like, not to certain types of music. I can say I don't like techno.
About the books- I love Victor Hugo, Ian McEwan and many many others! I may be a bit to old but I'm still a great fan of Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings. I've chosen latinamerican literature to write a presentation for my final high school exams. Generally, it doesn't really matter what the book is about, the thing is if it's good or not! But I'm not a great fan of science fiction.
Movies? I love Woody Allen movies and some others too, but listing all of them would be too much. I'd rather go for a drama or psychological film than a thriller, action or any one where there is lots of blood and shooting.

I have learned plenty while traveling and I believe I can share some of my experiences with other people. I know plenty about Europe, as I lived in Poland, England and Germany and traveled to different places too. What I want to learn about is the life of South Americans. How are the countries different between each other? What do Peruvian people do which could not be done by a Chilean? How is life in Bolivia? How is the life in these countries different to where I come from?

I can teach you to cook fun vegetarian food (many people believe vegetarian means salad) or just cook for you.
As a civil engineer I might be able to advise you if you have problems with your house :)
