ABOUT ME
I'm an independent person who wants to know everything and go everywhere. I know it's a lot to go for, but I believe it doesn't hurt to try.
I am a very easy relaxed person. When I travel, I just want to see the local sites, meet the locals, and experience the culture of the country that I am in. I'm not looking for drama nor do I cause it. I am a very open minded person who has had lots of traveling experiences and have stayed and met some really amazing people. Some people views are quite different then my own, but that is my favorite part of traveling, there is nothing more exciting then meeting someone with a different idea then you and learning about their bases and knowledge and why they hold that view.
PHILOSOPHY
There is no need for temples, no need for complicated philosophies. My brain and my heart are my temples; my philosophy is kindness.
But also I believe that two of our greatest ambitions should be to lose all inhibition, and to strive towards a hungry immersion in all things. The further from our comfort zones the better in my mind. If I could pick two well-known quotes which best summarise my philosophy they would be Twain's about only regretting the things we don't do, and Einstein's about the fact that we'd astound ourselves if we did what we were capable of. But one of the greatest pleasures in life is discussing different life philosophies with others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Somebody tell me about and I think is a great website to meet good people and learn about different cultures.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Someone told me about CS when I was venting to them about all the times and hardships I had while traveling solo and not being able to enjoy other places because I was lost all the time.
Interests
To say everything is vague but true - I believe in complete immersion with anything and everything. But my main passions are observing how people interact, discussing ideas about how to live life, finding interesting places to drink beer and get high on life, travel, reading and writing, photography and documentaries, sport, and learning new things.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read and discuss books, both fiction and non-fiction. My favourite book is hunger games now, but there are plenty of others, and I like to keep updated with what's happening in the world.
There is probably no music genre I would never listen to, and to be honest I get confused by all the genres. A lot depends on my mood, where I am, and who I'm with; I love to feed off of other people's passion for music. Some of my favourite artists at the moment are: Fat Freddy's Drop, Klingande, Rural Alberta Advantage, Jack Johnson, The XX, Theme Park, Will and the People, and the King Blues. I suppose chilled or bouncy semi-ska would be my self-defined genre of choice!
I most love films with beautiful cinematography and films that make you think. I also enjoy art, and although I don't know much about it yet, I like this Banksy quote a lot: "They exist without permission. They are hated, hunted and persecuted. They live in quiet desperation amongst the filth. And yet they are capable of bringing entire civilizations to their knees. If you are dirty, insignificant and unloved then rats are the ultimate role model."
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Go Mexico by my self My mom. Was mad at me.
Well I went to Colorado for winter time the snow was amazing like
Dream that was the best memory that comes on mind now.
And been to Guatemala-community project for a month- incredible experience, through rocks in to the wilderness with some friends, on the top of a mountain, in the middle of bloody no where.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a very curious person, and like to listen and discuss a lot, so I feel that I can help inspire people as part of passionate, mutual conversations. I could also teach people how to speak Spanish and how to dance.
As for learning, whether it's making bread, cook, mix drinks,
Or decorations, or surfing, I'm down.
