HI! I’m Laura, I’m 23 years old and I live in Cuneo, a small but beautiful town at the foot of the mountains in the North of Italy. I’m the second out of 4 children in my lovely family. I’m studying to become a primary school teacher at the University of Turin and I’m in my last year. I’m really looking forward to finish studying so that I can do what I really like: travelling, maybe living another experience abroad and finally starting working one day. I can describe myself as a calm person, quite silent and reserved, but also dynamic, open, smiling and positive when I feel comfortable with people. Moreover I’m curious and open minded towards new experiences, situations and contexts, thanks to all the experiences and travels I’ve lived in my life until now. I can’t say I know lots of languages, but I really love speaking the few I know, especially Spanish. I’m trying to keep on practising my English and wish to revise French one day in the future. Looking forward to my next travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think CS is a great way to know local people or other travellers and really enjoy the places I visit. And helps me to make some international friends! Moreover it allows to connect yourself with the world, to experience and to know other perspectives and ways of life. People from different countries who meet each other make the word more connected, and that’s amazing.

Music, Movies, and Books

There’s nothing I love more than listening to music in this period. I mostly listen to quiet and melancholic music, but I’m open to any kind of songs depending on the mood of the moment. I love sharing music with people.
Anyway Mumford and Sons remain the best, anytime.

I read very little. I know that’s bad. That’s actually one of the worst things of myself I really would like to change. Maybe when I finish to study will be easier for me to concentrate on reading.

I’m not used to watching a lot of tv. I’m not that kind of person who gets addicted to TV series on Netflix. On the other hand I like watching movies in English or Spanish in order not to lose them.
