Hello! My name is Laura and I am 24 years old. I am from California where I was born and raised, but I traveled north to Oregon for college. I am 5'11" so I am hard to miss in a crowd and I love being active. I have always participated in sports throughout my life (soccer, cross country, and track).

I love to travel, meet new people, and really immerse myself in the local culture I am visiting. Nothing is more important to me than respecting the history and tradition of the current city I reside in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not only do I get to travel, but I can meet people I wouldn't normally meet if I went with a tour group. I see this as an opportunity to meet some wonderful people while seeing some amazing parts of the world.
