About Me

I’m a student who wishes to travel more but sadly doesn’t have the funds!
I make excellent cuppas of tea. I have never owned a dog but adore them and hope to own one someday (an elegant but goofy German shepherd called Watson, perhaps)
My eyes are almost always bigger than my stomach

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This seems like a much nicer way of travelling and experiencing new cultures than hotels! I’m very impressed by the amount of kind strangers on couch surfing who are ready to share their homes and experiences to travellers!

Interests

Sunny or windy days on a beach, hiking (preferably without a huge rucksack on my back but hiking and camping can also be good), a good cup of tea, cheese and wine, the cinema, exploring as many cute cafes and independent shops in city centres as possible!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music taste changes depending on my mood but lately I’ve been replaying Norah Jones over and over again! I also really enjoy listening to movie scores and big band / orchestra

Love timeless films like A Beautiful Mind, The Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump. I also enjoy easy-watching films like Mean Girls and watching stupid horror films in the dark and testing out whether they are actually scary or not.

1984 made a real impression when I read it, but I haven’t read it in a few years. Right now I’m reading Sapiens and finding it pretty insightful and well-written!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am Italian (though I’ve lived in the UK for most of my life) and speak the language fluently so if anyone out there wants to have some Italian convo let me know!
Also looking to learn Spanish (very much at beginner level right now) so would be eager to try some conversation!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love challenging discussions over a glass of wine (or juice if it’s earlier in the day!) or more chill conversation over TV shows (I.e. House of Cards or How I Met Your Mother are current favourites) and books!

Countries I’ve Visited
