About Me
Hello! I am Laura. I host more often than surfing, but I am planning on doing a bit more traveling soon. In the past few years I've au paired in Italy, gotten my bachelor's degree in philosophy in Tampa, Fl and then moved to Cork, Ireland for a year and now I am currently in Colorado figuring out what to do next.
I love music, hiking, margaritas and my cat.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people. I have mostly hosted and I love now knowing people from all over, hoping to visit all of them someday.

Music, Movies, and Books
I (had) a large vinyl record collection before moving to Ireland. I had to downsize with the move. I love 60s and 70s music. Some of my favorite records are Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, The Mamas and The Papas, Leonard Cohen, The Doors, The Velvet Underground, The Kinks, etc... I also like the greats of modern indie music like The Strokes, Arcade Fire, The Shins, The White Stripes, Modest Mouse, Fleet Foxes, and some other more obscure artists.
Most of my books in my apartment are philosophy texts. But no, I don't have a favorite philosopher.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in Ireland for a year when I have only lived in Florida before that.
Also driving alone from Florida to Colorado.
Teach, Learn, Share
I make a mean mac and cheese
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share food, chats about anything from music to philosophy, or just a beer! :)
