Overview
About Me
I'm currently a final year student at De Montfort University in Leicester studying Accounting and Finance. At the moment I live with some friends from University and spend a lot of my time rock climbing. It's a great hobby to have, one that can take you around the world.
I grew up in Leicester with my Mum and my Sister until I moved out to be at Uni.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I did a little bit of travelling for the first time when I was 19 and loved it! When I was 21 I went back to America to see a little bit more of it and met some incredible people along the way, one of whom was a complete stranger before I went to stay with her. It was this wonderful and inspiring woman and her friends who introduced me to couch surfing. I am usually a Hostel Hopper when I travel, which is a fantastic way to meet people, but I prefer to do my travelling by experiencing places as a local not a tourist. Couch surfing is the perfect way for me to do this :)
Interests
I love to rock climb, bake, read, and to get creative.
I also love to meet new people and hear their stories.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all kinds of popular music, not really any specific genre.
I'm a sucker for chick flicks and romantic comedies. Anything cheesy that makes me cry is a good film in my books. My absolute favourite is the Blind Side.
I read almost anything, but my particular favourites are Jodi Picoult and Diane Chamberlain.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been volunteering with GirlGuiding UK for, since I was 13 in 2006, and started my involvement with GirlGuiding at the age of 4, in 1997.
What I Can Share with Hosts
From my first experience of Couchsurfing, I was asked to prepare a meal that was my favourite from back home. I would definitely love to introduce my hosts to different cuisines I've experienced from my travels and my home.
