About Me

I'm a book and food lover. I live with my boyfriend in an apartment located in the historical center of Bogotá named "La Candelaria" with a lot of places to visit like museums and historical places, you're very welcome just bring some food cause we truly love to eat and it would be amazing if we can try some foreign food hahah :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I I'm looking forward to learn as much as possible from other cultures to be able to understand different points of view which I think is the way that the world can be transformed into a better place to live in-

We actually started using couchsurfing about a month ago for my travel to New York, but it didn't went so well due that we didn't have many references :( so we are very open to host people in our home and begin our couchsurfing story :)
If you're planning to request us to be your host please include the word "Shiii" at the end so we can know that you read our profile and that you're really interested in not only to stay the night but to share experiences and culture :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Spanish punk, Rock, blues but I will say I'm eclectic, its all about the moment.

Books: I love dirty realism because i think theres is sort of charm in misery so writers like Bukowsky and Mario Mendoza are my favorite ones, magic realism like Garcia Marquez (which is mandatory if you're Colombian) Como Agua para chocolate by Laura Esquivel, JULIO CORTAZAR!!! And Juego de Ripper by Isabel Allende, Ensayo sobre la ceguera by Borges, etc, etc, etc (too many to write them all). Ps: (I love Harry Potter too but its more like a guilty pleasure haha)

Movies: Julie and Julia, Mary & Max, Whip it, Blue is the warmest color, the intouchables, The Lunch box, world war II movies like Enemy ay the Gates, Saving private Ryan, etc(too much to write them all too), love zombie comedy movies, don't ask me why I can't explain but I think I've seen them all, My favorite one is Zombieland but Shaun of the dead was pretty cool too.
