ABOUT ME

My name is Laura and I live in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. I work in IT. My priorities in life are nature and animal-care. You can look what we do in Lithuania in that field at www.lese.lt.
Especially I am interested in protection of wolves in our region and integration of these activities with other countries.
I like long distance walking with the group of the same crazy people. We do international walks or shorter regional walks several times a year.

Some of them are:
- IML Walking Association walks.
- The Camino de Santiago de Compostela, also known in English as The Way of St James, a collection of old pilgrimage routes which cover all Europe (from the Spanish word camino meaning "path").
- Radvilu zygiai

All walks are an international experience, a really pleasant melting pot of cultures and nationalities. It is a real pleasure to meet foreign people in your own country and to show them different unique, beautiful aspects, special landscapes and share the way of life. It is also fascinating to walk in the other countries talking with local people and observing the surroundings, the villages, the way of live.

If one day you will decide to visit Lithuania, take good shoes, because here we have nice places to see: from the historic old town with cozy inns to deep forests with crystal clear lakes.
