ABOUT ME

I have just returned from a year abroad, and after being hosted around Europe by come amazing people I want to try to return the favor to some surfers traveling through Halifax. I love to try new things and meet new people. I am in love with life and all it's possibilities and so excited about the future and where it may take me. I am passionate about nature and being outside, and I want to meet people and experience new cultures, and coach surfing sounds like a pretty great way to do that.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, but my favorites are probably The National, Joel Plaskett, Say Hi, Belle and Sebastian, Wilco, Arcade Fire, Hey Rosetta, Tokyo Police Club, Stars, Wolf Parade, Cloud Cult, Harlem Shakes, The New Pornographers, Kings of Leon, The Decemberists, Metric, the Hold Steady, Peter Bjorn and John, the Rural Alberta Advantage... there's too many I'll just stop there!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've hiked to the top of the most active volcano in Europe, Mt. Etna. Lots of people do it but I was awed by the smoke pouring out of the crater, and the sheer power moving beneath my feet.
