My mission in life is to be a kind and caring person and to try to enjoy everyday as much as possible.

ABOUT ME

Having lived in a variety of places, I now find myself at home in Cedar Rapids, IA!!  I work as an events coordinator for a small historic village and in my free time I enjoy working out, reading, cooking, being with my family, and planning trips that I want to go on!!  I was just married last year and have four step-children with one on the way, so our house is FULL! We probably won't be able to host for awhile, but you can still inquire about staying with us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the start of 2010, my mum and I surfed in several different locales with the most amazing people! What a fun time and great experience. While living in Arkansas we had the pleasure of hosting once and it was a lot of fun! Traveling and learning about other cultures is my favorite thing to do, and couchsurfing is all that and more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfing has been a great experience for me. The hospitality that people have shown has been incredible! I hope to do more hosting in the future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in the small village of Dassilame Serere, Senegal for two years was truly amazing, and I highly recommend anyone to spend time there!
