I enjoy traveling to non-touristy spots to experience the culture of the places I am visiting. I love sharing stories with people along the way :)

Some of my adventures so far:
Hitchhiked 3000km across Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan
Lived with and worked for cowboys and hitched a lift with the army in Ecuador.
Attended a 3 day wedding in Tunisia.
Mountain biked death road in Bolivia.
Completed the Inca Trail in Peru.
Swam with sharks in the Galapagos.
Caught piranha in the amazon in Brazil.
Hitchhiked and celebrated Raya with my CS family in Malaysia.
Trained Muay thai in Thailand, was invited to a funeral after briefly meeting some locals and then subsequently invited to stay at their house for 2 nights, volunteered for an orphanage.
30km trek to see ethnic people in Laos and joined them hunting.
Hitchhiked in a car and climbed an active volcano with the driver.
Taught English to children in Malta.
Wild camped in the middle of a forest.
Featured in the highest grossing punjabi film.
Kite-surfed in British winter (and got hypothermia).
Completed a triathlon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking for authentic travel experiences :) I want to learn about different cultures and make different connections around the world.

Interests

I like trying lots of different things, but in particular I enjoy sports, travelling, chess, cycling, rollerskating and playing games.

Music:
I like a lot of different music from ABBA to DnB.

Movies:
I am not into many movies, but I like watching a lot of travel youtubers- my favorites are baldandbankrupt and Eva Zu Beck.

I like to read travel related books and I like reading children’s books in different languages to help me pick up phrases.
