ABOUT ME

Hi,

My name is Lin Liu. I live in a farm with my husband and our Doberman- Lady and Kaiser. We grow organic apples in the south east of Norway, a village which is about 1 hour away from Oslo, 15 mins away from Oslo Rygge Airport.

I used to work as an Architectural Assistant after finishing my degree at Liverpool Uni. My last job was in an English language school in Manchester.

The city life has become a distance past now, at the moment my husband and I live the quiet country life away from the hustle and bustle of cities. But we ALSO enjoy the convenient location of the farm--20mins to Sweden, 15mins to an airport and 1 hour to the capital Oslo.

We enjoy reading, walking dog in the forest and traveling.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My husband and I would like to host people who are genuine and sincere, interested in exploring different cultures, enjoy the outdoor life and who can have a nice conversation with. Since we live close to Oslo Rygge Airport, I have received a few messages in the past asking to stay one night on transit of their flights, we'd like to offer help to those in desperate situations, but we are sorry that we don´t want our home to serve as an airport hotel...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At the beginning of year, a friend and I traveled to Paris, that was when I used CS for the very first time. It turned out to be an amazing experience that we've met some kindest and loveliest people. Though I have been to Paris numerous times, but this spacial experience has made me seeing Paris and France in a different light.
