Overview
About Me
I'm a French medical student.
It's really difficult to talk about oneself,
I dare to hope I'm a nice person but I guess it depends on the point of view.
*If you want to be hosted*:
/!\Only hosting on WE/!\
Here are some advices to make a good CS request :
Please take the time to read my entire profile and do not copy/paste your requests : I won't answer if it is the case, I have more than ten requests a day..
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
-Because as a student I have no money and CS is a wonderful way to travel for cheap.
-I hate the concept of tourism, I don't want to go in tourist spots full of other tourists taking pictures, when I'm in a country I want to live like a local, meet local people, and open my mind to an authentic culture.
-I want to be an host to give something back by helping travelers in return, to meet new cool people, and to break my daily routine.
Please write "Guacamole" at the top of your request to show you took the time to read everything ;)
Interests
I am found of sports. Any sport, swimming, running, hiking, climbing, surfing, work out, anything, I love to move.
Food is also one of my great passions, I love both eating and cooking (vegetarian and vegan most of the time).
I like the nature too, its landscapes and its living beings, and I have a little hippie side that makes me try, from my modest position, to protect it.
I love to discover new places,to party, to meet atypic mind-blowing people and get drunk.
I'm also interested by the human brain, psychology and psychiatry, I'm kind of fascinated by this science.
I waste too much time online, Internet is dope.

Music, Movies, and Books
My musical tastes are really eclectic (old and actual rap, reggae, classic, electro, old pop, new pop, r'n'b, traditional songs, anything) as long as it remains melodious (and the shit we ear most of time on commercial radios isn't melodious). I also had great times in music festivals (Dekmantel in Amsterdam, Sonar in Barcelona, Weather in Paris, Love saves the Days in Bristol..) Music is essential for me, it makes everything prettier.
It's the same thing for movies, I like all categories except the boring blockbusters with explosions and car racings or endless dialogues with no action.
But currently my heart goes to series: the mainstream but brilliant Game of Thrones, Shameless, Hannibal, Peaky Blinders, Misfits, Orange is the New Black, Narcos... are masterpieces. And I've only picked my very favorites.
I've also discovered the TED Talks this year, they're so inspiring, I like to watch them during lunch when I'm studying.
I love reading too, I used to read a lot as a teenager, I think my favorite book is "La nuit des Temps" de René Barjavel, the story is so pure.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't know if it can be called "amazing" this word seems a little bit too much but it's something I'm proud of: I've been a lifeguard during the four previous summers, in Leucate (South of France).
So I know how to drive a jet-ski, how to heal a jellyfish sting and I how to yell at irresponsible tourists all day. I also have the boat driving license, a first aid degree and I'm totally in love with the sea.
Teach, Learn, Share
*That awkward moment when you realize you have nothing to teach but your mother tongue* I'm in the beginning of my life I don't pretend to be able to teach anything...
I think I can learn stuffs from every single couchsurfer or host because each person is an expert in something.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My sense of celebration, maybe nice conversations because I'm pretty open minded and curious about people's lives (I said I love psychology). I will also do my best to be a clean, polite, flexible and respectful guest.
