We are two sisters which love to travel together. Laurie is 26. She has just finished a diploma in art school in France and is now a Phd student in art. She's a vegetarian. Melen is 18 and she just finished high school, and will enter in law university next year. We love to draw the places we visit, and it will be our first one month trip out of Europe ! We are very excited about it. We hope to take great pictures of our trip too !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are going to China this summer (2018) and we would love to meet people and share a drink together ! We are very curious about other lifestyles and we would be very greatful if you could show us your city and host us.

Interests

We love to draw the places we discover, it helps us to remember the nicest moments of our trips ! We hope to have a pretty sketchbook at the end of this trip. Melen enjoy playing piano and learning new langages - she studies chinese langage since three years. Laurie loves to discover new (vegetarian) recipes, dancing and doing karaoke. She is passionate about art and tarot.

Music, Movies, and Books

Melen loves piano. She reads a lot of very various books, from travel literature to science fiction and thrillers. Laurie is crazy about dystopian books and movies, and she's a fan of Terry Pratchett too. Laurie can't spend a day without listening music - David Bowie, Lou Reed, Nine inch Nails, Patti Smith, Pink Floyd, Björk and Pj Harvey for exemple. We enjoy to watch horror film together and Laurie is always terrified when Melen laugh all along the film. We love to watch TV series too - Orphan Black, Downtown Abbey, Game of Thrones, Dexter, Breaking Bad, Sense 8, Queer as Folk, The Good Place, Grace and Frankie, Brooklyn 99, Les Revenants, Sherlock, Friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We made an horror simulator - escape game - in Czech Republic with our brother. Laurie created and run a handbags business. Melen was on a two weeks trip in Dublin alone. And we will do amazing things this summer in China !
