ABOUT ME

I would say I'm an easy-going person, spontanious, practical and realisitc. I love to meet new people and listening to their stories and what they experienced. I do a lot of sports and I really love my piano! I am very excited about traveling, surfing, athletics, volleyball & beachvolleyball, snowboarding, reading and horseback riding.
In addition to all this, I love to be together with my friends or my family. They mean the world to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a lot of great couchsurf experiences. Personally I think the point is more to meet people, learn to see the world trough the eyes of a local and make new friends, instead of just sharing an apartement for a night.
Actually I am a really skeptical person, I choose my hosts or surfers very carefully. But as soon as I see someone cares, I'd do anything to make the stay a great experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

Greatest movie I've ever seen: Les intouchables, Denzel Washinton is my favourite actor, i do listen to a lot of folk, jazz, southern rock and blues. Ever since I remember, i play the piano and so i am also really into classic music. I've seen Arcade Fire, Mumford and Sons, The Vaccines, Beirut, Coldplay, Kings of Leon,Kasabian and White Lies in 2011 - so that was somehow MY year of music!
And i basically like all kind of books which deal with sociocritical topics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sounds pretty like a romantic girly story, but it was simply amazing; I was surfing with two friends of mine at the eastcoast of Australia and although there weren't big waves I paddled out quite a bit. Waiting for the waves to come up, I was sitting on my board and suddenly a butterfly appeard as if it wanted to give me some company. It was not before then, when I realized that there was no one around and i was just covered by silence. That was probably the most peaceful moment in my life.

I want to learn everything! I would love to learn how to walk on my hands, how to swim like a fish, how to be more patient, how to live without my agenda, how to see in the dark, how to stay calm when cars don't care about cyclists and how to like seafood.
