About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Happiness

ABOUT ME

I'm a grad student at Oregon State University. On the weekends, and whenever I can catch a break, I coach kids in ski racing at Mt. Hood Meadows; I play guitar, bass, and sing in various groups; and I'm learning to fly.

I am very open minded, respectful, and nonjudgmental.

My favorite part of traveling is meeting local people. I hate getting stuck with the super touristy culture. What really interests me are the places to go off the beaten path.

PHILOSOPHY

Love and happiness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During high school, my buddies and I always talked about taking a cost-to-cost road trip. After we all went off to college for a few years, and hadn't talked in a while, the idea started to fizzle. My friend Ben, one day decided that it was unacceptable for us to lose sight of this goal, so he gave us a call and we and decided that the summer of 2005 was the time for it. We did end up going on that road trip, and it was epic.

Teach, Learn, Share

In a nutshell, I could easily chat with someone about nuclear physics, math, flying, music theory, skiing, ski racing, camp counseling, teaching ropes course, traveling, life guarding, working with kids, sign language, mixed martial arts, or anything else that you can get excited about.
