Hey, we are Layla from Hampshire, England and David from Basel, Switzerland. We are currently doing a West to East, 2 month road trip across Canada. We are the best of travel buddies who met 3 years ago doing the same thing in Australia. We have remained good friends and are now on our second epic road trip adventure. We love exploring new places, getting the best local advice and of course eating the best local food! Layla is currently on a working holiday visa and has spent the past year living and working in Banff, Alberta. David is currently studying microbiology in Switzerland and is enjoying a summer vacation before starting his Masters in September. We would love to come and stay with you, to hopefully get the best advice and pass on our travelling experience to you! We are not a couple, and both have partners at home but we do not mind close quarters or sharing a bed.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
Layla: Quit my 9-5 job in the UK and sold my possessions to see the world. David: Spent 5 months travelling Australia and New Zealand, including jumping out off a bridge and out of an airplane in New Zealand.

What I Can Share With Hosts
We are also both pretty nifty in the kitchen. Both David and I love to cook and take influences from all the countries we have been to. We have enough tea with us to sink a battleship and make the best cuppa this side of China.
My Interests
