ABOUT ME

I'm a young 41 (still getting used to saying that) year old female, recently jumped the "safety ship" for an entirely new career. Have an amazing 15 year old daughter, a dog and a cat. Hope to fulfill some travel dreams one day. We did make it to Turkey last year! Have recently made friends with folks from Ireland, so maybe that will be a destination.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I finally got to do my kayak trip up to Grey Owl's cabin on Kingsmere Lake in Prince Albert National Park here in Saskatchewan a few years ago. It was freezing and hard work, but had the most perfectly calm, gorgeous paddling. So, so beautiful. The guy who got me there is long gone, but I'm very grateful for that experience!
