About Me

IG: @leandrocasla7

Bring an answer to something so general like "a discription of yourself" would be difficult and extensive.
Simply I want to say that I consider myself as a well-disposed person, open-minded, friendly, respectful, that enjoy with the most simple things in life: having a talk with someone about anything, share a beer or a coffee, observing a landscape, being in contact with nature, doing sports, music, travelling and knowing new places and cultures, camping. An easy going guy let's say. I have an altruist vision about life, I believe in helping without expecting anything in exchange for, and I like to do it. I really like animals and nature. I am passionate about trekking and hiking. I love playing chess. When I travel, I want to try as much street food as I can. I am a hot springs enthusiast. Anyway, what I really enjoy the most is learning, about anything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I like to learn. Because I'm convinced that the best way to know a place is through their people. Sharing a day with them, a dinner, a beer, a chat or whatever. Being able to get in their day to day with someone who lives there is priceless for me.

To hangout, have fun and enjoy with new people from different cultures.

Interests

Travel, enjoy life in my own way, meet people, cultures languages, among many other things. Learning as the main thing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy music, movies and literature, having very different interests in the three areas. If I had to name movies which contributed a lot to my life, some of those would be: "The Shawshank Redemption", "Million Dollar Baby", "Into The Wild", "Dead Poets Society", etc.

Related to music I really like symphonic metal, celtic folk, rock, jazz. I am a huge fan of live music. Especially attending to underground venues and watch what bands which music isn't their real job have to offer. Some bands/artist I really like listen to: Celtic Woman, Avantasia, Epica, Rata Blanca, Devin Townsend.

And if we speak about books, I try to read often, and I like diverse topics and genres. I particularly enjoy any of Verne, because years ago were the ones that accompanied me in my childhood and motivated me to travel and discover things, having adventures, etc. I like philosophy, psychology, and sciences in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-The way up the abandoned lighthouse in Necochea, Argentina. A hard path through the breakwater. Did it side by side with a friend made it more amazing.

-I bought a ticket speaking in Romanian without knowing the language. The words just came out my mouth.

-Been in Yerevan the same week of city's 2800 anniversary.

-Visiting an Armenian chess school. As a chess lover, that was an outstanding experience.

-Attending to a football game between Serbia and Montenegro (UEFA Nations League 2018/2019).

-Hiking in Patagonia Argentina.

-Abel Tasman Coast Track in New Zealand.

-Enjoying rotenburo (outdoor hot springs in Japan) in Kusatsu Onsen.

-Beating KOF 97, one of chilhood's videogames, with one coin in an arcade in Osaka.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Spanish, show the city in day or night if you are in Buenos Aires, I can teach you how to make some dishes from Argentina. I can recommend you places far from downtown that are a "must see" and won't appear in any tourist guide. I learn from every chat and experience so I will be ready for what you can teach. I am a fan of cooking so it would be nice if you could teach me something typical from your land.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share things about Argentina, our history, culture, cuisine, music. Speak about any particular theme.
