I'm (almost) a professional, having just secured a job at the biggest tech startup in South East Asia. Im an avid chef, a voracious reader, and I love outdoor activities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Honestly, I was pretty hesitant about couchsurfing, but I recently joined because I'm going to the US alone for a while , and would love to meet some amazing people, share stories, and just discover people's favourite things to do in each city. After looking around the website and reading how open and inspiring everyone is, I definitely regret not joining sooner! So to anyone looking at my profile right now and seeing zero references and friends, please don't think I'm some kind of psycho. I'm just a slightly cautious boy (but an open minded one!)

Music, Movies, and Books
I love so many movies!! Off the top of my head, my favourties include: Ex Machina, Gravity, Her, and Arrival. But there are SO MANY more movies i love. I also love a good fantasy epic, a gorgeous animation, or a documentary
Again, so many books, too little time. I like reading a mix of fiction and non-fiction books, so here's a list of some of my favourites
Fiction : Létranger by Albert Camus, most stuff by Murakami and Kazuo Ishiguro, The Catcher in the Rye, fantasy series
Non-fiction: Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari, Sous chef by Michael Gibney, Hit Refresh by Satya Nadella
Music: various genres, but usually some jazz, chill music is ncie
Would love to know what recommendations you have!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Some of the things ive done so far:
- ran a pop up cafe for the weekend, serving a 4 course floral themed dessert menu to 100 guests. Was super hectic and tiring, but gosh what an experience!
- produced a stage production at Imperial that I'm super proud of :) We had a total audience count of 1200 people
- helped build a sheltered walkway for a village school in Malaysia
- was featured on a magazine cover for my cooking
- i have a diploma in piano performance and recently joined a jazz band
Always on the lookout for more amazing things to do with amazing people!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm an avid learner, and would love to learn anything and everything! New languages, new food, new skills, whatever it is I'll try my best to learn it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Loads of stories from my travels, food and snacks from my home country, and some good conversation. I would also love to cook for you, and explore the local farmers markets to get some amazing produce!
Secondly, I'm also a photographer, so I would be more than happy to help you take some awesome photos.
Lastly, I'm in tech and design (finishing my masters in information systems, focusing on UX and Data analysis), so feel free to ask for any advice regarding this area
