Overview
About Me
Natively Estonian, but haven't spent much time back home in the last couple of years. After I finished with uni, I moved around quite a bit, living in Hungary, Austria, Mexico, the UK, and generally floating about. Just moved back to the UK for the second time because my partner is doing his PhD here.
Other than that, I'm quite outgoing and also go out quite a bit (see what I did there?). I definitely prefer spending time outside, be it a leisurely stroll, a hike/jog/skip and hop, or a nice drink in cool company.
My work mostly involves staring at a laptop screen for hours on end - it makes for a really flexible but sometimes isolated life. So most of the time I'm also up for just meeting up and philosophising over the nature of reality and life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really owe Couchsurfing a lot!
It all started with my gap year in SE Asia (fully register how much of a basic white girl that makes me) where I got fully and truly sucked into CS. Did some surfing and a whole lot of hosting after that.
Thanks to CS I also met my best friend whom I shared a flat with in Budapest -and in this flat I happened to host a lovely German gentleman who is now my partner in crime as well as life (actually, more life - we haven't really made it to crime yet). You can check out the co-host's profile here: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/bubblenedrum
Anyway, so now I try to host as much as I can to pay back the karmic debt I owe CS. Really also enjoy going to meetings and surfing every now and again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once saw a leatherback sea turtle lay her eggs. That was pretty cool.
Also wrote my thesis in 10 days. But that wasn't amazing. It was really just garbage.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can make dolphin sounds - but unfortunately I have no idea how I do it, so I can't teach that.
What I *can* teach is how to say "Cheers" in about 20 languages. And if you know more, I want to learn!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have quite an extensive collection of terrible jokes which are simply the best!
