ABOUT ME

Hey-o,

My name is Leigh, and I'm in my mid-to-late 20's. I live in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada with my boyfriend, Mackenzie (he's on Couch Surfing as well), and room-mate, Morgan. I grew up in a small town called Caledon in Ontario, Canada (about 1.5 hours North of Toronto), but moved to the Yukon once I finished my Bachelor of Commerce (2012).
I now work full-time in Whitehorse as a Product Manager for a Telecommunications company. I have a happy, fluffy, energetic dog that requires a lot of time to tire him out, so Kenzie and I spend a lot of time out with him (usually in the form of disc golf, cross-country skiing, or puppy play dates).

When I'm not working or out with the dog, you'll find me at the gym, socializing with friends, or trying to catch up on some sleep!

I'm here to meet some new people and compare lives from around the world.

I haven't been to too many places yet, but I'm slowly collecting passport stamps!

Music: Rock, Country, Top40, .. really just about everything.

Movies: You know.. When I was in college I worked for Blockbuster (a year or two before they closed in Canada), and people were always asking me what they should watch. But unfortunately, I'm not a big movie buff.. and I'm quite behind on 'movies you need to watch' (needless to say, I was terrible at recommending anything other than Mean Girls: "it's like I have ESPN or something!").

Books: Recent reads include "Decisions by Jim Treliving" and "The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg"
