We love listening to a broad range of music and enjoy discovering new music (well to us) on Spotify and attending Womadelaide (world music festival) each year here in our hometown Adelaide.
Movies: Fantasy, travel documentaries, adventure
Books: Presently reading real-life hiking adventures, but anything that's a cracking good read really.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Back before tourism hit Lombok (Indonesia), yes a long time ago, I travelled there as a teenager with my mother and we were one of the very first visitors to the island. There was no accommodation, only a convent to stay in and we travelled deep into the interior by local truck and visited a village where they had never meet foreign people before. The whole village came out to meet us and was amazed by our skin and hair (and kept touching us which was fine in the context). An amazing experience I'll never forget as there were still places back then that had no tourists and were real and authentic.
