About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living the life, help & get to know people .... give something back and be thankful for what I was able to experience in the past!

ABOUT ME

Wow, that's a lot of place to fill in just about me. I grew up in a small town in central Germany. After my A-levels I moved to Wiesbaden (close to Frankfurt), where I started to study Business. In my spare time I love to do lots of sports, shoot photos, travel whenever I can, meet up with friends & new people and live life to the fullest.

I love travelling and I'm really open minded to everything that's new. I really enjoy meeting new people, who look at things differently than I do. It sharpens your mind and maybe helps you to be a better person.

I "use" couchsurfing to get in touch with many different personalities.

PHILOSOPHY

"Once a year, go someplace you've never been before" + "There is no elevator to success. You have to take the stairs."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host people whenever it is possible and I try to treat everybody with respect, as long as the other person does this as well. I spread the word and hope that couchsuring will keep alive and stay as "clean" as it is.
This project is just awesome and connects the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are just too many movies I've watched in the past years. I love thrillers, dramas and actionmovies as well as documentary-films or anything in the range of educational or sport movies.

Music is really important in my life as well. I listen to nearly everything, which excludes pop-music. I like acoustic, raggea, rock (fast and slow) as well as hiphop, rnb or electronic music.

There's no favourite book I would mention, because I'm really not the guy who is reading a 100 books a year. I enjoy reading a lot, but most of the time I can't really afford time to lay back and read a book. I love adventure stories such as "Allan C. Weisbecker - In Search of Captain Zero"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was really lucky, because my family always loved to travel, so I've been to:

Indonesia (Bali, Java) USA (California, Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii, New York), England, Spain, France, Portugal, Turkey, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Switzerland, Domenican Republic, Austria, Czech Republic, Holland, Hong Kong, Australia, Tasmania, Fiji Islands, Costa Rica, Ireland...

In 2009/2010 I've been on an exciting world-around-trip, which gave me the opportunity to see the following places:

Hong Kong, Bali, Java, Melbourne, Tasmania, Perth, East Coast of Australia, Sydney, Fiji, Hawaii, California, Costa Rica, Las Vegas, New York City, Dublin and finally back to Frankfurt!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach:

- how to surf / skate / snowboard etc.
- how to organize a trip/life/...
- how to take (hopefully) stunning pictures
- German

I want to share:

- the experiences I made during travelling
- the experiences I made in my life
- food / drinks / ...

I want to learn:

- everything which is new and sounds interesting

I'm pretty sure that EVERYBODY can achieve and learn nearly EVERYTHING. Maybe it is not possible to become a professional in everything you want to, but you can come really close to all of your goals, if you really work hard for it.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Fiji, France, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Germany
