Overview
About Me
I've been a stay-at-home mom--and now grandma--for almost 30 years. My husband is taking early-ish retirement and we plan to travel as much as we can afford--in the US and abroad. We have 80 acres on a beautiful spring-fed creek in the foothills of the Ozarks about an hour east of Tulsa. We are hobby farmers, and have (or have had or will have) the following for sale from our farm: chicken eggs, meat chickens, nursery plants (herbs, tomato plants, etc.), potted trees & shrubs, tree fruit, and vegetables. I've done volunteer work all my life in the areas of breastfeeding education & support, sustainability/green building/renewable energy/local food, foreign exchange students, and politics.
