ABOUT ME
52 years old. Good health. Lining a little village in the grapeyards 20 km from Bordeaux (overvalued wines, up to me). Journalist, documentary maker, media critic. Teacher in a journalism school at the university. 3 children (21, 15, 13), One wife. Working for la Collection de l'art brut, a museum in Lausanne (Switzerland) devoted to raw art (films, catalogues, books). Old soccer player. I am sometimes forgetting to shave, as you see on the photo...My last work is there. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xzsshj_le-sang-du-nigeria_news

Music, Movies, and Books
Good documentaries. Any movies (with the children, even a stupid film can make me cry). American litterature. Travel litterature and journalist's books (Nicolas Bouvier, Marius Wilck, Richard Kapuscinsky, William Vollman...). Sociology books and human sciences. Reading newspapers every day. Following some specialised blogs (on art brut or raw art, media on line, and media critics),
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hunting whale with a harpoon from a very little boat with Tchouktchis people in the Bering straight. Eating raw and still beating walrus heart as a tribute and a thanks to mother nature with Alaskan Inuits. Walking alone on a cracking pack ice in Siberia. Being put in play and threatened by kalashnikovs in Congo. Assisting to my wife giving bearth to my children. Running to escape a check point in Nigeria. Discovering new artists and preparing exhibitions (Nek Chand, Paul Amar, Judith Scott, Gregory Blackstock...)
