I’m one post graduation from McGill in Montreal. I’ve spent the last 6 months studying French through the government and working part time in invasive ecology research. This fall I am going to be back and forth from the city and the country repairing a friends cabin part time! This break from full time studies and work has given me the chance to travel to BC to see my best friend who just moved there! She doesn’t have room for me and my friends to stay so we are hoping to find a lovely host who would like to join us for some outings or simply share some good meals and conversation :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have couchsurfed a few times in the past with a close friend of mine and had only great experiences! On a student budget, being able to save money that would be spent on hostels makes a huge difference. It is also such a great way to get more of a local experience and it is incredible that so many people are willing to open their homes. I hope to have a home to offer people in the future to pay it forward :)
