Overview
About Me
I am a South African expat currently pursuing a PhD in Bioscience Engineering in Leuven, Belgium. My current mission is to immerse myself in the Belgian culture, travel as much as I can and meet as many interesting, open-minded people while still enjoying the flexible freedom of being postgraduate student.
Coder by day, semi-pretentious beer afficiando by night. I love mountains, sunrises and cool drinks on a summer evening. I am flexible, easy-going, curious and ambitious by nature and enjoy learning from people with entirely different backgrounds, perspectives and cultures to my own.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and learning about their home, culture and the environments they grew up in. I have a passion for travelling and exploring the world, as well as showing people the beautiful, vibrant, welcoming country I call home.

Books: everything relating to fantasy/adventure and historical fiction. I am also trying to read more non-fiction, so suggestions are welcome!
