CURRENT MISSION

After many years of studying during my spare time, I have reached my professional goals, and now I want to travel more, listen to more conserts, visit more museums, art galleries, be with my friends, meet new friends etc.

ABOUT ME

I moved to Gnesta, 70 kilometers from Stockholm 2 years ago when I got a new occupation. My daugthers are studying in Sthlm and I really wanted to be closer to them. I`ve got many new friends here and I really LOVE the province. It is so beautiful, a lot of cultural activities and just an hour from Sthlm. I spend a lot of time with my friends, read, love going for a walk, working in my garden, cooking, baking etc.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that the meaning of life is that we are supposed to meet different challenges, to learn to handle them and by this develope as human beings. This means that we must have the courage to travel, meet new and different cultures and people. Then we can change...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I´m offering a couch for two persons when I have time during the weekends. I can also provide with sheets, pillows and blankets, guiding in the area as well as in Sthlm to some extent. If I have time I can offer you warm cinnamon buns or bread.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my best experiences in life was when I visited my backpacking dauthers in Australia. We went to Fitzroy reef for snorkling, and it was just gorgeous, like swimming in a huge aquarium. We also saw turtle´s hatching and helped them into the sea, hiked in wonderful national parks and we really got new friends for life there.
Another fantastic period of my life was when I, without anykind of boatexperience bought a big motorboat wich I lived in during a couple of summers. I´t was like falling asleep in a cradle every night, wake up at the sound of seagulls, take a swim before breakfast, go fishing, reading, listen to the radio, nightly swimtours in the glowing "mareld"...what else do you need?

I can offer my guiding, cooking and baking skills as well as interesting discussions about philosophy, pedagogics etc and hope I will get the opportunity to learn more from people all over the world.
