ABOUT ME

My name is Francisca, but I have been called Lika since the beginning of my time. I am passionate about spending my days outdoors, enjoying natures gifts, growing food, singing, dancing, listening, observing, and having conversation over tea. I have lived on my families small hobby farm in an isolated community for a number of years, did a little bit of volunteer farm work around our beautiful planet, attempted to hunker down in Victoria to pursue an education in natural health and after studying and working full time in a city, it came to my attention that that lifestyle wasn't for me, and so, on to the next adventure. I like to play scientist in the kitchen, mixing, mashing, baking, boiling, adding spice and making everything nice!
Looking forward to further expand my couchsurfing horizons!

Traveling, playing music with friends, snowshoeing, canoeing, walking, star gazing, primitive skills, dancing at music events until closing time, permaculture, cooking tasty nourishing food, tea drinking, volunteering and cleaning...yes, you read that correctly, cleaning.

"The Strange One" written by Fred Bodsworth is one of my favorite novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was blown away by the detailed beauty of the moon when I first saw it through the lens of my telescope...I also went partially blind for about half an hour after the experience, was it ever bright!

Teach, Learn, Share

I will be happy to share my knowledge in: primitive skills, animal husbandry (goats, sheep, chickens, alpacas), gardening, and anything else that I may know about!

I'd love to learn more about: pottery, art, djembe drumming, bike repair, car mechanics, yoga, healing touch (or any other energy work), sustainable living practices, astrology, soap making, mycology, medicinal herbs, oh there is much to learn!
