About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet new people from all over the world and expand our global community.
ABOUT ME
We are a young couple who have been married for five years. We have only furry children; Sadie, Lou and Molly. Together we enjoy cooking, eating, movies (Mostly on the Sofa at home with the dogs), music, NPR, exploring new restaurants, audio books, gardening and hanging with our animals. On an individual basis, Robin likes to bake, knit and is a bibliophile and Adam is an angler, gamer and likes nature photography. Cookeville, and the Upper Cumberland in general, has some gorgeous natural cliffs, waters falls and scenery, so we like to go out for drives or slow hikes, so Adam can snap pictures.
We are not the clubbing types, however, we do like to go for coffee or a few beers at some of the nearby pubs and bars.
All who travel are welcome in our home no matter age, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation. We are GLBT friendly. One of our main goals in becoming couch surfers is to meet folks of varied backgrounds and life experiences.
PHILOSOPHY
World Peace, Cold Beer, Tasty Pizza- it's all Good.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We mostly plan to host. We enjoy traveling, however, with work, animals and a mortgage, we have limited funds and time to do much traveling. SO by hosting we will be able to have some of the world come to us! Additionally,We really enjoy being hospitable and cooking for folks. Finally, when we do have the chance to travel, we will have the opportunity to meet even more people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books- All Harry Potters, LOTR, Narnia, historical fiction, fantasy, Sci-fi- Really Too many to list but we are equal opportunity readers of classics, and fiction. I am not much of a non-fiction reader with the exception of a few cook books, gardening, dog training books, teaching books and diet books.
Movies- Most genres with the exception of Horror. We lean towards Fantasy, Sci-fi, Stupid Comedy, historical fiction. we have over 100 movies, so if you drop by, chances are we might have something you like.
TV-We do not have broadcast television. Only DVDs.
Music- This is really Adam's area- but our iTunes library is VERY broad and eclectic.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My few travels to Germany, Austria and England in my teens and early 20's were amazing and opened my mind to other people's cultures, beliefs and the hunger to see and experience more of the world.
