About Me
ABOUT ME
Update: After 10 years in the corporate world, I’m now traveling the world (either by van or jumping around abroad).
I am an engineer who graduated from Cornell university in the states and went on to work at GE Renewable Energy. Before starting work, I spent a year volunteering abroad in 5 different countries from Costa Rica to Peru to Nepal to Kenya. I love adventure, challenging myself and trying new things, which is why I love to travel. In traveling you really immerse yourself in a completely new culture which may be uncomfortable at first, but in the end, you always come out with a new perspective on life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet amazing people in the travel community. Somehow despite the fact that travelers come from anywhere in the world, these are the people I have most in common with and continue to love meeting.
Interests
I am really into sports and games. I play volleyball, tennis, orienteering and try to learn something new every year.
