After a covid long break from travelling, I'm back on couchsurfing! I loved meeting people from the country I travel to and now I believe you can't truly experience the country without talking to people who live there. That's why contact with a person is so important to me.

Last time I used couchsurfing in Finland I was in high school, now, three years later I study art (and before I studied comparative literature, but that didn't work out) and I'm happy to say that my interests haven't changed that much - I'm still into art (of course) but now I'm not only watching, but making it, I loooove all kinds of animals, even the bugs! (cockroaches might be the only exception), and activism is even more important to me now.
At home I'm 98% vegan, but when I'm travelling I switch to vegetarian diet. Same is with my boyfriend who I'm travelling with. More about him, because most of the time we're travelling together:

- and books
- studies philosophy
- cooks really well
- lived in like 5 different Asian countries and travelled a lot

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I came to love couchsurfing during my recent travels, and I always kept this option in mind: there's always a kind person somewhere that will invite you into their home, no matter where you're from, what you do, transcending false barriers... it's a pure, human thing! I also hope that one day I'll be able to extend this helping hand to other people.

Interests

I love art - the history of it and making art by myself. I count movies as art, and I love watching, reviewing and exchanging the experience.
I'm vegan and I recently picked up cooking, I also like trying new food in restaurants and then copy the recipe at home.
Meeting new people is one of my interests! To be more specific: talking to them, listening they views about world, learing from them.
